Upgrades

I have spent a pleasant afternoon in the sunshine ‘pootling about’ the innards of this blog.

Some search engine optimisation has been accomplished and some Twitter integration has been setup and a version upgrade has been accomplished along with the mandatory backups.

Even a few years ago anyone of these tasks would have brought on major ‘geek’ sweats and nightmares. They would have required and entailed hours of prep and much anguish etc.

The ‘Interwebs’ communities have made huge strides in the last few years and, frankly, I could have done it all with a glass of wine to hand – it was  smooth and hassle free. Congratulations to all concerned. Long live the Open Source Revolution!

Actually, all of this drivel is a check as to whether the Twitter integration has been sucessful! More later.
