Is it paranoid to think that putting Honohan in the Central Bank is a very effective way of shutting him up??

It never ceases to amaze me how quickly and easily all the “radical outsides” go native and become part of the establishment , but maybe many of them had already “GONE OVER TO DARK SIDE” years ago. think about the who and the why.
25 years of hard won political capital has been spent and another 25 years may be needed to pay off the political debt that the Green Party will incur unless the party defeats NAMA.
I think the Green Party like the Manhatton Indians sold their birth right to Captain Hudson for a few trinkets and some shiney beads and I fear that the second programme for government will only gain the party just a few more shiny beads.
