Well said Arthur,
We GP members were fooled by mixing NAMA and the PFG into one convention. It was a clever move by the powers that be to ensure to stay in power.
I'm very angry that my initiative to get the needed 5th group asking for a discussion on NAMA has been so brazenly abused. I never thought the GP would act in such an undemocratic and opportunistic way. Is there anyone with some green values left on the top table?
Hang in there, you have many supporters sharing your views.

Well done Arthur.

Keep up the good work. I have a feeling you might be around a lot longer than the current crop of so called "Greens".

It may be worse than you think. Interest rates are low and we are running a deficit of 12% (if we cut €4 Billion). Also all the quantitative easing may well produce an international economic boom, even if it may be short. All this stimulus, national and domestic, could, maybe, produce a surprisingly quick upturn in the Irish economy. FF will have gotten out of a potential disaster.
In that case FF may do surprisingly well in the next election. But many Green voters will not forgive.
Result: FF and crony capitalism preserved, with massive cost of NAMA bailout.
            Greens destroyed.

Historians judgement of current leadership: saved FF & crony capitalism while destroying themselves. That's the worst case.

If FF can hold out for any sort of a recovery they should survive and with their property backers in excellent health. And the Greens probably destroyed. That's the best case!
